In light of COVID-19, we wanted to make sure everyone is aware that vaccination is required for attendance. We will have many people attending who are high risk, including one of the grooms. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. :)
It all began one summer evening. After a bad breakup and a few weeks of moping, I finally downloaded a dating app. Flipping through people with my sister, I eventually made my way to this WICKED cute redhead. We ended up matching! We spent the next few weeks chatting and getting to know each other, and I eventually decided to drive out for a weekend. That weekend was AMAZING. We really hit it off, and I was already planning my next trip back before I'd even left. And, well, wouldn't you know, I didn't. For awhile, at least. We woke up the morning I was due to leave to a phone call from Raz's mom, telling us she tested positive for COVID-19. Seeing as my family is very high-risk, I immediately called to let them know, and we decided it would be best if I stayed quarantined away from home until we were certain I didn't have it. Well, two weeks together in a single basement room really helps you get to know someone! Before long, We were the best of friends, and learned we both have very similar lifestyles. The rest is history!
It was the middle of covid. I was in between jobs, and bored out of my mind. My roommate and I had decided to pass the time by scrolling through a variety of dating apps. I had matched with several people on this particular app, but Isaac had messaged first. I couldn't tell you all the things we talked about, but after a few weeks of texts and calls, I felt like I'd known him for years. The first night he came to visit in person, we sat on my floor and talked till after the sun had risen. I remember worrying I would run out of things to say, but there were always more stories, more questions, and so much more laughter. The morning he was due to go home, my mother had called to tell me that she'd tested positive for covid. Suddenly, a brief weekend of getting to know one another, turned into two weeks of quarantine in my tiny basement bedroom. After that, I never wanted him to leave.
