Travel
For international guests:
Flights from Singapore to Mumbai are aplenty! From Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport, travelling to South Mumbai, which is about 18-20km away, is easy. Just get a pre-booked black and yellow cab from the airport or use Ola (the Indian version of Grab).
For travel within the city:
The two wedding venues, Hume High School and Hotel Diplomat, are about 6km apart. Therefore staying anywhere within 5-10 km of either of these locations is a good idea (see next section).
Where to stay:
There are dozens of places of all budgets in Mumbai. However, we'd recommend finding a place close to Apollo Bunder, Colaba and Fort areas. This is the heart of South Mumbai and where a lot of places are interest are located (from the famous Victoria Terminus or VT station to Flora Fountain and the Taj Mahal hotel. For those staying in this area, you'll most likely be within walking distance of the venue for the Mehndi Reception - Hotel Diplomat.
