Sparkle is one of my big cousins who I grew up with like a sister. She knows how to bring on the fun and will most likely be on the dance floor with me! She is a newly wed and has already provided us tons of advice on how to make this experience, "Our Experience." If I ever need an honest response, she will be the one to give it to me in the raw.

Shanell is one of my closest cousins. This one does not play about me! Although we live miles apart, she never makes me feel like she is too far to be there for me. If I ever need someone to remind me of who TF I am, she is the one to lift me up. She is also one of the most organized people I know and will ensure that all "I's" are dotted and every "T'" is crossed.

One of my besties and the "C" in #QLC! We've been rocking since the second grade and haven't missed a beat. She introduced me to poetry when we were kids, which encouraged me to write my own on paper. To this day, I love to hear someone recite poetry because of Crystal's influence. She gives sound, responsible, and strategic advice BUT is willing to jump on a plane and "LIVE LIFE" with me whenever there is an itch. She adds me to her prayer wall often and loves me unconditionally. Oh and if you need a picture, this one is gonna get all the angles until its perfect! If you hear someone screaming "Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeee" on the dance floor, its more than likely her.

That's my girl and one of my favs! Mary is one of my cousins who personality just lights up a room. She is truly a ball of fun! She attracts everyone to her energy. She is someone who I vent to without any judgment and always there to support me no matter how big or small the moment is. She is guaranteed to make you laugh and feel comfortable to be 100 percent yourself around her. I know without a doubt that she would have make this journey as fun as possible.

We've been friends for almost 20 years but have been super close for the last three years. I literally talk on the phone with her for hours to vent, listen, laugh, brainstorm, encourage, and or just figure things out. When I tell you she is seriously my long lost twin. We think a like, both have huge hearts, creative, loves to dance, have 90 percent of the same interest, both are Leos, entrepreneurs, and did I mention she is my line sister? OO-Oop!!!!

We go wayyyyyyyyy back from going to the Route, house parties, the rink, etc. Keshia is one of my closest friends forget that she is my sister that have been in my life since the 6th/7th grade. We instantly became family! Her family has always treated me, Layla, and Shawn like their own. I can call her whenever and she will make my problem, her problem. In the meantime, she will provide a drink and some fun while we figure out the solution. She has been there for me through it all and I mean through it all. Keshia is truly my ride or die sister friend.

Hey Twin Heyyyyy! Everywhere we go people always ask are we sisters???? At this point we just say yes. Qudessia "Q" is one of my besties and the "Q" in #QLC. We've known each other since we were 14 years old and has been rocking and rolling since then. I experienced my first college tours with her, which sparked my interest in traveling and seeing the world. So yeah she is responsible for all the money that has been given to airlines throughout the years (insert Kim K's meme of giving out money). She is one of the few that can calm me down during stressful times and always ensure that her twin is okay. If I need a getaway tomorrow, she will be the first to say, "where we going" and actually book the trip.

Brandi! I met Brandi in college at THEE Tennessee State University! We shared our first apartment ever together in Nashville, TN. She is someone who has ALWAYS been in my corner and #TeamLace everyday all day. Her children became my nieces and I love them like my own. Brandi is the epitome of a real friend. If she is needed she will be there. Brandi will pray for you and help you get through whatever you are going through. She will do whatever it takes to make something happen and won't complain along the way. If I say I want to be an astronaut tomorrow, Brandi will be like, "Yasssss friend" be the dopest astronaut the world has ever seen.

My back! She took that term of endearment and have made it define our relationship. My AKPSI + My dancing partner. Diamond Michele (with one L) Adams has been just a breathe a fresh air since we've linked up. She always represented D-Town (Detroit) while I heavily held it down for the Chi (Chicago). We always share inside jokes and laughter that no one understands but us. We also hear songs and our head and starts dancing to music only her and I hears lol. She lives all the way in Nashville but if I tell her I need her in Chicago tomorrow, she will be on the next plane or in the car heading this way. The way her and Mama Dee (Diamond's Mom) loves me makes my eyes sweat.

When your friend's friend become one of your friends. Toni is just so damn lovable! There is no way you can be around her and be sad. She is pro whatever makes you feel good. She has helped me celebrate so many wins. Even the things that I didn't think was a accomplishment, she would make it a big deal. I love her for that because it taught me its okay to celebrate YOU even if no one else does. This girl would make a taco Tuesday night a FIESTA because she is all about if you're gonna do it, then do it BIG! Toni has been there through some tough times, which I truly appreciate and has continue to be loving and supportive through it all.

Toya is one of the first family members I've met of Shawn. He expressed that she is the sister that he never had long before I met her and she ended up being just as genuine, sweet, and cool as he told me. Toya have always being supportive of our relationship and not choosing his side just because he is her cousin. She made me feel super comfortable, welcomed, and like family even before we've said, "We do." I was there to share her excitement and journey as she became, "Mrs. Long" and I'm ecstatic that she will be there for me as well.
