We recommend that guests fly into Rio de Janeiro – Galeão International Airport (GIG), the main international airport with the widest range of flight options and generally better fares. For those flying domestically within Brazil, Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) is also an option, located closer to the city center, but it mainly serves shorter national routes.
