Question

Is the wedding or reception impacted by Governor Beshear's recent COVID-related executive order?

Answer

Yes, but not drastically. For those who aren't aware, Governor Beshear recently ordered that all indoor venue-based events, like wedding receptions, be limited to 25 people per room. This order does not impact religious ceremonies, so nothing will change with our wedding at St. Louis Bertrand. However, to comply with the order, only 25 people will be permitted to be inside our reception hall at a time. However, we've purchased a large tent which will be heated to accommodate the remaining guests. As guests inside the venue leave, guests in the tent will be permitted to move inside. There will be a speaker in the heated tent and food and alcohol will both be available in the heated tent. This party is going to happen!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have a "guest" slot in your RSVP (see RSVP tab) then you may, otherwise we would like it if it were just you! If you are unsure, please give us a call or text 224-730-1654.

Question

What kind of ceremony?

Answer

Catholic Wedding which includes a Catholic Mass in St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. You do not have to be Catholic to attend the ceremony! All are welcome. :)

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

November 1st 2020, please RSVP on the website underneath the RSVP tab or call/text 502-780-7134 or 224-730-1654

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have Gluten Free options available at the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 1:30 pm (15 to 30 min before begin time is great)

Question

How does COVID-19 impact this wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We want to assure the safety and comfort of all our guests during our special day. During the ceremony, the church pews will be blocked off every other pew to ensure social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer and extra masks available for you in front of the church. Please bring your own mask to ensure there will be enough for everyone. During the reception, we will have hand sanitizer and masks if needed for all guests at the entrance. We will have RED, GREEN, and YELLOW wrist bands in front of the reception hall indicating your comfort level regarding the virus.

Question

Do you have a specific hotel we should plan on staying?

Answer

Yes! Please go to our "Travel" tab to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Louisville at a discounted rate! Simply click on the link to book.
