Here's a link that will provide additional context and visuals: https://khuuba.com.au/blogs/posts/indian-wedding-guest-outfits Feel free to choose one of these options for the Indian wedding day outfit: 1. Saree - You want to get a "pre-stitched" one so you can easily throw it on, because its essentially a giant piece of cloth that's traditionally draped or tied on (but ain't nobody got time for that). They are formal, elegant and a very popular choice worldwide! 2. Lehenga - This is a short blouse and a long skirt that comes with a throw - They're formal, fun and colorful - another popular choice. 3. Sharara - This is a wide legged, flared pant with a long or short top to match - tons of variety in styles, length of pant or blouse etc. also very fun and rich! 4. Kurta/salwar suit - A very basic long top with loose pants. This is more simple and casual. 5. Indo-Western - This is essentially fits that are a mix of eastern and western culture. Very popular outside India and there's so many creative styles to choose from! Added bonus - you can probably wear outside of an Indian wedding! ;)
Indian weddings are very colorful! Think reds, pinks, greens, blues, yellow, or wild prints - go crazy with the colors! You want to stay away from white and black!

You can simply RSVP on the website online. Please do this by May 1st (at the latest) since this is a destination wedding we have a lot to figure out based on total # of guests!
Your best two options coming to Italy will be flying into Florence or Rome (Most of this is covered in the 'travel' section). From Florence, we suggest renting a car so you can sightsee in your spare time, and have freedom to move around as you wish - Tuscany is not a walkable city, its a very spread out region, with different provinces, small cities etc. so a car is kind of required. The castle is an hour drive from the airport in Florence, and 30 mins from Siena - closest city to stay, shop, explore. From Rome, we also suggest renting a car and driving to Siena which is 3 hours and 30 mins. Alternatively you can take the train to Florence ( 1 hour and 45 mins) and rent a car there. We will have shuttles that run to and from 'Fortezza Medicea' in Siena to the venue on both wedding days - Friday and Saturday. There will not be a shuttle service for the welcome event on Thursday which is more casual. If you choose to come, you may drive or Uber or taxi at your convenience. There is plenty of parking onsite for those who decide to drive.
The wedding is entirely outdoors. There will be an emergency marquee tent incase it rains.
We're having a destination wedding far far away and the events go till 3 AM....how many other hints do you need? You can thank us later!
