Los Cabos International Airport code: SJD Please schedule your air travel accommodations any way you would like as we have guests from all over the world. This airport is a little different from most international airports so please review the following suggestions based on our recent Wedding preview weekend at Hyatt Ziva Cabo earlier this year (April 2022). *Important: international travel to Mexico requires a valid passport with at least six (6) months expiration*. You will also have to fill out a customs form usually provided by your airline during flight to your final destination. Los Cabos Airport does NOT require any COVID protocols (testing, proof of vaccination, etc.) to enter or exit the country at this time (Oct 5, 2022). No COVID protocols for the US on return either. This particular Airport has special arrival customs / security, a timeshare gauntlet commonly referred to as the "shark tank", and an intense exit / taxi experience. Please review and comply to the Los Cabo Airport Customs and Security website regulations and restricted items to ensure ease of entry in Los Cabo airport: https://www.loscabosairport.com/customs-security/ -Specifically listed medicine are prohibited (mostly narcotics and over the counter stimulants such as Sudafed) -All non-prohibited medicines must have prescription or doctors note -$500 max import (they are hard on all resale items, or any product you bring multiple of i.e. wedding shirts for the wedding party have been fined or confiscated) -No CBD-only products -Definitely no illegal drugs. -No meat, livestock, fruits, vegetables are allowed (I recommend nothing edible to ensure ease of entry). Travel Note

Transportation to/from Los Cabos Airport

We do NOT recommend a rental car for this event because the Hyatt Ziva is an all-inclusive resort and all the events are located on property with exception to the Bon Vouage Sunset Cruise which transportation is provided. We do recommend the taxi service: you will be intensely greeted by a taxi service attendant that will guide you to the taxi stand with printed standardized price paid on site in exchange for a paper to give to your driver. There are pre-arranged transportation service providers, including an outsourced hotel shuttle for Hyatt Ziva and others, but we found this method to be slow for about the same cost. Therefore we recommended the taxis but this is your adventure, you do you! It can feel hectic through the airport and actually getting to the hotel but, once you arrive at the Hyatt Ziva you will see that beautiful ocean and feel the crisp breeze funneling through Hyatt Ziva's beautiful lobby and you'll instantly forget about all that noise.
