FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 31st, 2022 via this website on the RSVP tab for each event (three events in total). No paper invitation will be sent.

Question

Do I need to book through the room block for Hyatt?

Answer

Important-Yes!!! You must book through the room block. It’s a whole all inclusive hotel/wedding thing. Please do not book through any other websites or even the hotel website directly, thanks!

Question

What can I expect at the Hyatt?

Answer

The Hyatt is great! Mike and I stayed there earlier this year and had a great time. Lots of restaurants to choose from. There’s a food truck by the pool with tacos, quesadillas and burritos. Drinks are great too! Don't forget about snacks in your room and room service!

Question

When should we come in? Leave?

Answer

Up to you! Ideally, I’d try to get to Cabo on Friday. The fun will start as soon as you get in! We will be at the pool so come hang out. The sunset Bon Voyage cruise will be on Sunday night, so the earliest I’d leave is Monday morning, you’re always welcome to stay longer!

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

You will need transportation to/from the airport. You can grab a taxi or prearrange a service. We booked transportation through the hotel last time and it was easy, but we had to wait a little bit. You can email the hotel here to arrange transportation if you would like. transport.hyatt_ziva_cabos@playaresorts.com You won’t need any other transportation except for the airport. All of the activities on Friday and Saturday are at the Hyatt. Transportation is provided to and from the sunset cruise on Sunday.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is more than enough, no gifts please but, if you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, please use our Venmo: @mustangmike or @RandiNorman or mail checks to: Mike and Randi Kerslake 7040 S 32nd Pl Phoenix, AZ 85042

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please be comfortable!! Friday night is casual dress, we’re just having cocktails. Saturday night is beach formal attire. The wedding party will be in formal wedding attire, come ready to party. Part of the reception will be in the sand! Sunday night is the sunset cruise to the Arch. The average high in Cabo in February is 81 degrees and the low is 61 degrees. Cabo isn’t as humid as other locations in Mexico, so might be a little chilly. I’d bring a jacket or sweater, especially for the sunset cruise.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let Randi or Mike know if you have any food allergies or preferences and we can accommodate.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

The Hyatt is family friendly and kids are allowed. We are hoping you can party and enjoy yourself at the wedding and asking that it’s adults only, outside the ring bearer.

Question

What to expect at the Los Cabos Airport?

Answer

You may deboard through a jetway, or you may have to descend a set of stairs onto the tarmac before entering the terminal. It's a good idea to wear layers in preparation for Los Cabos' warm weather. Inside the terminal, you will have a few steps to follow before you can get your transportation to your hotel. • Pass through immigration and show your documents, including your passport and the immigration form (FMM), also referred to as a https://www.tripsavvy.com/mexico-tourist-card-3150205, that you should have filled out on the plane. If you weren't given one on the flight, you can fill one out while waiting in line. The immigration official will give you the bottom portion of this form to keep. Save it carefully as you will need to return it when departing Mexico. • After immigration, continue to the baggage carousel area to pick up your checked luggage. • When going through customs you will be asked to press a button which will result in either a red or green light turning on. If you get green, you are free to continue to the next step. If you get a red light, your luggage will be inspected. • After you pass through customs, there’s one more hurdle to get through before you reach the exit. You have to walk through what is sometimes called the “shark tank” which is an area where many timeshare representatives will try to get your attention. Their goal is to get you to attend a timeshare presentation and they can be very pushy and sometimes even deceptive. They will offer to help you find your transportation, give you special discounts, deals or free activities in exchange for attending a timeshare sales pitch. In most cases, the best idea is to just walk directly through this area without paying attention to the salespeople and get outside, where the taxis and transportation companies wait.
