Another UNESCO Heritage site! Really beautiful old temples, and has a lot of ethnic architecture. Amazing food around there (especially pani puri)

A local shopping area. Bring all your negotiation skills. Also, amazing food around here.
Thamel
Party central! Awesome shopping, music, food, clubs, and bars. Tourist hub as well, and a lot of shopping.
Pokhara
Great weekend/2 days trip. Must go if you have some extra time. Great to do paragliding, hiking, trekking, etc.
Kalinchok
A quick gateway from Kathmandu for beautiful mountain view and fresh air.
Nagarkot
