After months of pestering to us by our close relatives, Ramu decided to add Soniya on Facebook. We immediately hit it off...talking everyday for more than 10 hours and sometimes even 18 hours...no we did not sleep; no, we did not quit medical school or residency. Despite the pandemic's best efforts keeping us apart during the first part of our relationship, our bond grew stronger. After months of lockdown, Trump came through (may be the best act of his presidency) and brought Soniya to Ramu on a rescue flight to America in June 2020. Finally, the love birds met, moved to an exotic island and lived happily ever after..... NAH! We met in Milwaukee, and we did long distance relationship for a while. Many of you know, were were planning on getting married in June 2021, but pandemic striked again. Instead in June, we did a engagement celebration with few family. (Though the priest might have secretly gotten us married). Either way, we are excited to host you in Nepal for our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate together.
