From the moment we met in December 2021, we knew there was something special between us. Our first date was a casual hangout with friends at Justin’s cousin Monica's house, where we watched movies and shared laughs. Just a few days later, we ventured to Veterans Park, running around and climbing on everything, solidifying a bond that only grew stronger over the following weeks. We spent Christmas and New Year’s together, even though our relationship was still in its early stages—yet, it felt like we had known each other for much longer. Valentine’s Day 2022 brought a beautiful surprise when Justin went to Jennifer’s house, with the help of her mom, to set up rose petals, her favorite candle, and a giant stuffed octopus named Jerry. The heartfelt moment was made even more special when Jennifer’s brother secretly recorded her reaction as she walked in. From that day on, we knew we were meant to create countless memories together. In the summer of 2022, we spent countless hours hanging out with friends, enjoying boat rides on the river with Jennifer’s family, and diving into our shared love for anime, especially Hunter x Hunter. Our bond grew even deeper, leading to a life-changing trip to Orlando for Jennifer’s birthday. We stayed in a beautiful Airbnb, where we accidentally slept in the same room for the first time—just one of many moments that helped us grow closer. The following year, in August 2023, Jennifer embarked on a new chapter at Johnson & Wales University to pursue her passion for baking and pastries. Though the distance between us was challenging, we made it work. One memorable visit, in October 2023, Justin took a long train ride to surprise Jennifer, arriving in the early hours and waiting outside until she woke up to let him in. As our relationship grew, we shared more incredible experiences, from traveling to Orlando for our engagement in August 2024 to supporting Jennifer as she finished her final semester of college. The December trip to move her home marked the end of her college journey, with a heartfelt farewell dinner with friends. One of the most significant moments came on February 25, 2025, when Jennifer became a United States citizen. Surrounded by family, we watched the oath ceremony and celebrated the day with a special meal at Chili’s, marking one of the happiest days of our lives. Now, as we prepare to marry, we are filled with love and excitement for the future. Our journey together has been nothing short of amazing, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives making more memories.

El viaje en diciembre para mudarme de regreso a casa marcó el final de mi etapa universitaria, con una emotiva cena de despedida con mis amigos. Uno de los momentos más significativos fue el 25 de febrero de 2025, cuando me convertí en ciudadana de los Estados Unidos. Rodeados de familia, vimos la ceremonia del juramento y celebramos el día con una comida especial en Chili’s, marcando uno de los días más felices de nuestras vidas. Ahora, mientras nos preparamos para casarnos, estamos llenos de amor y emoción por el futuro. Nuestro viaje juntos ha sido increíble, y no podemos esperar para pasar el resto de nuestras vidas creando más recuerdos.
