Elsa and Jesús were co-workers who casually passed by one another and said hello. He admired her from afar and kept it cool because he thought she was out of his league. She thought he was a good-looking guy who was really quiet for some reason. It wasn't until he saw her wearing a Yankee hat that he said to himself "BINGO! There's something I can break the ice about". They had to exchange numbers due to work and "coincidentally" had more work events scheduled together. One day, she told him they should go watch a Yankees playoff game together. He agreed thinking it was a date. She saw it as an outing with a friend that was also a Yankee fan. Some time after they went to a work holiday party and that's really when the sparks started to fly!...and as they say, the rest is history! Elsa y Jesús eran compañeros de trabajo que casualmente se cruzaban y se saludaban. Él la admiró desde lejos y mantuvo la calma porque pensó que ella estaba fuera de su liga. Ella pensó que él era un muchacho guapo, y a la vez muy callado por alguna razón. No fue hasta que él la vio con un gorra de los Yankees que se dijo a sí mismo "¡BINGO! Hay algo sobre lo que puedo romper el hielo". Tuvieron que intercambiar números debido al trabajo y "casualmente" tenían más eventos de trabajo programados juntos. Un día, ella le dijo que deberían ir juntos a ver un partido de playoffs de los Yankees. Él aceptó pensando que era una cita. Ella lo vio como una salida con un amigo que también era fanático de los Yankees. Poco después fueron a una fiesta navideña del trabajo, y ahi sí fue que las chispas empezaron a volar...y como dicen, ¡el resto es historia!

After meeting her family members in the DR, Jesús knew that he wanted to marry Elsa. He asked her dad for her hand in marriage, then messaged her friends and sisters to ask about what rings she preferred. He wanted to propose before her actual birthday, because they had a trip planned to Mexico for her 30th and he didn't want to take away from that special day. He then came up with the idea of having their families meet for the first time to "celebrate her birthday together". After talking with his friends, he decided to have a boat sail by at the National Harbor with a banner that said "Will You Marry Me". The couple arrived at the Harbor and got messages from their families saying they wanted to take pictures at the dock before dinner. Elsa thought to herself, "We're already late for dinner, but OK!". They walked down to the dock and took group pictures. Then everyone insisted that they take a picture as a couple and "look into the horizon". Moments later, he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Después de conocer a su familia en RD, Jesús sabía qué quería casarse con Elsa. Le pidió la mano al papa de ella y le envió un mensaje a sus amigas y hermanas para preguntarles qué anillos prefería. Él quería proponerle matrimonio antes de su cumpleaños, porque ya tenían un viaje a México para su cumple #30 y no quería opacar ese día. Luego, le pidió a sus familias se reunieran por primera vez para "celebrar juntos el cumpleaños". Con la ayuda de sus amigos, planeo que un barco navegara por el National Harbor con un banner que dijera "¿Quieres casarte conmigo?". Elsa y Jesús llegaron al Harbor y recibieron textos de su familia diciendo que querían tomarse fotos juntos antes de la cena. Elsa pensó "Ya estamos tarde para la cena, ¡pero está bien!". El grupo se tomo fotos en el dock, luego todos insistieron que se tomaran un foto como pareja y "miraran hacia el horizonte" ¡Poco después, Jesús se arrodilló y le pidió que se casara con él!
