5/14/22: Joel invited me to his Senior Prom! I never went to prom because covid ruined my senior year 😔 Class of 2021 moment 🧍‍♀️

6/12/22: Joel leaves for Marine Corps bootcamp because he sold his soul to the government. I was looking quite crusty that morning ⚰️. This would be the beginning of a long emotional journey for us.

9/8/22: Joel and I could only communicate through letters while he was at bootcamp for 13 weeks. No phones or emails or anything. This was us seeing each other for the first time in 13 weeks 😮

9/9/22: Joel’s bootcamp graduation where we finally got to take him home for 10 days before he got sent to his schoolhouse in California 😋
