You’re Invited To The Ramos-Cao Wedding!

The wedding ceremony will be held at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church: 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield, VA 22152 After the ceremony and photos we will head to the American Legion Post 176 for the reception: 6520 Amherst Ave, Springfield, VA 22150

The ceremony will begin at 2 PM and the reception will begin around 4 PM and we end at 10 PM. Please arrive around 30 minutes before the ceremony to get seated.

Studio Ghibli! We love to watch movies together but often end up struggling to choose a genre. Ashley loves thriller and psychologial movies while Joel loves rom-coms and lighthearted moves. However, Studio Ghibli movies have always been the perfect middle ground for both of us to enjoy. Our favorites include Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and When Marnie Was There!

We kindly ask our guests to dress in attire that is appropriate for a church ceremony. Please avoid wearing jeans, tennis shoes, white outfits, or clothing that is overly revealing. As part of our celebration, we invite you to take inspiration from your favorite Studio Ghibli characters! For example, you might choose a gray and cream outfit reminiscent of Totoro, a red dress inspired by Ponyo, or orange and red hues evoking Calcifer. Feel free to accessorize with jewelry or hairpieces to complete your look. While we encourage creativity, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing costumes or overly distracting accessories to maintain a respectful and elegant atmosphere.
