What to wear?

Answer

Arrival & Maiyan – Western Casual for both ladies (dresses, jeans, summer dresses etc) & gentleman (shorts, jeans, t-shirts Sangeet : Ladies: Lehengas (long skirt with a crop top), Anarkalis, readymade sarees so you could dance comfortably in, dhoti suits etc. If you don’t want to wear Indian clothing, then please feel free to wear a maxi dress or any cocktail outfit of your choice. Gentleman: from a simple kurta pajama, to dhoti kurta and even a pathani suit. More than welcome to wear khakis with polos etc Wedding Ladies: Anarkalis, Palazzo suits, Salwar suits, saree (make sure tummy’s not showing & head’s covered for Sikh Ceremony), and long choli Lehengas. Non-Indian outfit would be a dress with leggings. Gentleman: Sherwani, kurta pajama, churidars, asymmetric style sherwanis to be cool & contemporary. Non Traditional options would be business formals, slacks etc. Please bring a bandana to cover your head for Sikh ceremony. Reception. The attire is Western Formal Cocktail style.

What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Dominican Republic?

Answer

Travel to Dominican Republic requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after July 28, 2020 (6 months from the date of entry into Dominican Republic). As of April 2018, tickets purchased in the United States include the cost of required Tourist Card, so no additional visa purchase is required before arriving to Dominican Republic for those from the United States. For those from other countries, please check your local Dominican Republic consulate.

Is there transportation available between the airport and the resort?

Answer

Rammi and Shivani have negotiated for discounted transfers in Punta Cana! Please share flight information with Shaadi Destinations as soon as you have this available but not later than 1 month prior to travel.

Question

What time is check-in and check-out at Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana?

Answer

Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best. Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

Can I stay for just 2 nights?

Answer

While most destination wedding guests choose to stay 5-6 nights when flying to Punta Cana, we understand there may be certain limiting factors. Unfortunately, group discounts are only valid on a minimum of 3 night stays. If you must stay 2 nights, please contact us at hello@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you. Booking through Shaadi Destinations allows for certain group benefits to be conveyed and allows for the best rate possible.

Are kids welcome?

We chose Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana because of the endless list of activities that will turn us all to children - so children are encouraged! Designed for kids between 4-12 years old, the Kids Club provides playful and safe activities so that the entire family finds their paradise in Punta Cana.
