The hard part is over, we found each other!

Shivani & Rammi met up in Manhattan on Friday Aug. 31st, 2018. The date went so well that at the end of the night, Rammi asked Shivani to join him and 30 of his friends on Fire Island the next morning. They had so much fun on Fire Island, that one night turned to two, and turned to three. Shivani thought she would never see Rammi again. Meanwhile, he was already planning their second date, which took place three days later.

The biggest and best surprise of my life! He surprised me with 10 gifts for my birthday, the 9th one was “you have 36 hours to get ready for your birthday trip to Aruba”, the 10th was my favorite...a super sentimental bday card. The second day in Aruba he told me we were having a private dinner on the beach at sunset at the Ritz Carlton, and he hired a photographer and videographer to do a couple’s shoot. We started dinner at a nearby bar on the beach and walked ten minutes to the Ritz. Every minute of our walk there was a bottle with a number on it attached to a rose. Each of the 12 bottles had a note in it summarizing the highlight of that month, for the year that we have been together. When I turned around and saw Rammi on one knee, I started profusely crying and shaking out of joy, to the point that I ended up falling on my two knees when I said YES to him asking to marry me. After the proposal I opened the note in the 12th bottle which was on our dinner table and said “Aug 9th 2019, today I ask you to be my forever.” We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating our love. For those that know me well, I’m a hopeless romantic, and this was beyond my dream proposal.
