Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you know you will be able to travel for our special day. We only have a certain number of rooms available for our wedding group. So, the sooner, the better! (P.S. You can book your trip with just a $100/adult deposit)

How many days do I need to stay?

Answer

3 days minimum. We will be there from 9/28/24 - 10/4/24

Do I need to create a profile on DestinationWeddings.com

Answer

Yes. The link in the TRAVEL page will take you to the site where you need to make an account after you use "Find a Wedding." This is required since you will add your personal information here for travel booking. Once you make an account, just go to www.DestinationWeddings.com and Sign In (At the top right corner) to your own profile any time you need to go look at booking information.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?

Answer

No. You will only need to pay a $100/adult deposit when booking. The rest of the total can be paid in increments. Final payment for everything is due on 1/11/2024. If your balance is not paid, they will automatically cancel your trip.

Do I have to stay at this Resort?

Answer

Yes. You will need to book through our destinationweddings.com website so that you are counted towards our wedding guest. Guest passes for those staying outside of this Resort are $165/person (3:45pm-11:15pm only). We strongly suggest to stay with the wedding group so you don't miss out on the fun!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We chose a family friendly resort for a reason. There are special rates for children. Make sure you let our Valerie know when you are booking. Child rates are only applicable when booking a room with two paying adults. If one adult is booking with children, the first child will be charged as an adult.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire for Church Ceremony, after that you can change if you would like into something more comfortable for the reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, make sure you include this in your comments when booking your stay.

What are the best room prices?

Answer

All of the rooms in this Resort are "Suites" so less expensive doesn't exactly mean less quality. The prices fluctuate depending on the "View" from your room. The most economical choice will be the "Garden View." This just means the windows are facing opposite side of the beach. Oceanview/Oceanfront will be the most expensive. The number of Adults/room also helps in your pricing. 1 Adult per room is the most expensive. If you have 2 adults or 3 adults staying in the same room, the individual per/person price will be cheaper. Child rates are available only when there are at least 2 Adults per room. Prices are different for each age group: Infant- 2 and under, Child- ages 3-12, Teen- ages 13-17, Adults- 17+

How do I book my trip?

Answer

We have an assigned travel specialist, Valerie Leconte, she will book your stay at the Grand Palladium. All requests must be submitted to her and she will contact you to finalize everything. STEP 1: Go to our link on DestinationWeddings.com - Go to "Find a wedding" and use our Wedding Passcode (RUVMAR2024) to enter the booking site. STEP 2: Go to "Ready to Book" (Attend) - Request a room with your chosen Check-In and Check-Out dates. STEP 3: Choose your room. (The Room descriptions and details are provided in a dropdown menu after the resort amenities). The prices listed are per person rates (not group). If you are booking a room with someone else, you must book together. STEP 4: Submit your information. This is so the travel agent has all the information to book your trip. STEP 5: Travel Protection insurance is just a safety net in case you need to cancel your trip. This can be added at your discretion. Transfers to/from the airport are included with your package. Keep in mind these are shared shuttles and will be stopping at other hotels to do drop offs if necessary. It is important to let Valerie know your flight Itinerary so she can schedule shuttle pickups at the time of your arrival. STEP 6: Add all the people that will be included in your room (including children). You will see your pricing populate in the "Total Cost" section. You can go back and select a different room type if you would like, to see what your final cost will be. STEP 7: Once you are happy with your choice, add any comments/questions you have for Valerie before you move to add credit card information. STEP 8: Fill out the payment form. Please note your card will not be charged right away. STEP 9: Valerie (travel specialist) will reach out to you to submit your final travel plans. If you have any questions she is very capable of providing answers.
