Travel Note
Please make sure to have your passports or enhanced driver's licence up to date in order to either fly in to Windsor, ON or to cross the international Canadian border from Detroit, MI. If we invited you, we would love for you to be there. If you are flying in, I suggest going to Detroit and driving across the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel or the Ambassador Bridge. Currently, the Canadian government is allowing all vaccinated travellers to enter the country without having to perform a pre-arrival test or quarantine. To assist with easier air travel/ border crossings, you will have to download and fill out the ArriveCan app with the requested information prior to travelling. Please ensure to have your records and all documentation with you. Unfortunately, at this time, non-vaccinated travelers will still have to provide proof of a pre-arrival test and complete a 14 day quarantine. The only exception available would be to qualify for a medical exemption. We understand that this would likely mean you will not be able to join us. We respect your personal choice and if you fall under this category, our hope is that the government will revise their rules before our special day so that you can join us. Flight
We recommend our American out of town guests fly into Detroit and rent a vehicle for the stay in order to cross the border and make your way around town. This will be your shortest and cheapest flight option.
Flight
If you insist on flying into Windsor directly, this will be the closest airport. Keep in mind, this option is typically more expensive and will be a longer flight as this will likely take you all the way to Toronto or Calgary (trust me...its far) before heading back to Windsor.
