Isabella and Ram met in October 2023 at work, when Ram stopped by with his brother to visit. Ram had already been working there for a year and a half, while Isabella had only been there for about two weeks — just enough time for him to give her the nickname “Bell” on the very first day they met. The nickname stuck… and so did he. Almost a year later, on October 11th, 2024, they went on their first date. The night started off normal with sushi and beer, but quickly turned memorable when they went to an arcade bar and decided to compete on a punching machine. Isabella hit it a little too hard and fractured her hand the moment he turned his back on her, which pretty much guaranteed Ram would never forget their first date. They now call that night their “drunk anniversary.” Since the first date involved a minor injury, and maybe a drink or two… or six (sorry mom). Isabella made Ram ask her out again, and their first official date became a movie theater date — now known as their “sober anniversary.” For their one-year anniversary, they took their first big road trip together to Los Angeles, where Ram planned to propose at 71 Above. However, after some unexpected car trouble, the plan changed. The next day at Pismo Beach, in front of the Pismo Beach sign, Ram finally got his moment. When Isabella saw her best friend, then her parents, and shortly after his parents showing up, she realized this was not just a beach stop. Surrounded by family, Ram asked Isabella to marry him, and of course she said yes. Now they’re getting ready to say “I do” on June 13th, 2026, and they can’t wait to celebrate with everyone they love (hopefully with no broken bones this time).
