The South Shore train line is a great way to get into the City of Chicago from Indiana or Michigan without the hassle of driving and paying parking fees. For those coming in from out of town, taking the South Shore line directly to Millennium Station is the most convenient way to get to the First Lady Cruises dock. Once at Millennium station, order an UBER or hail a taxi for a 2 minute drive to the Chicago River. Or take a leisurely walk under 10 minutes.
Parking & Dock Arrival

LAZ Parking Garage entrance is the first driveway on the north side of E. South Water Street. The Garage is affiliated with the Sheraton Hotel. It is a 1.5 block walk from the dock. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on Chicago's First Lady Architectural Tour Boats. Dock is located along the Chicago Riverwalk. Use the staircase at the northeast intersection of Michigan Ave and Upper Wacker Drive to access the ticket office along the Riverwalk (look for the blue awning!)
Planning Your Attendance
6:45 pm
Please arrive a minimum of 15-30 minutes ahead of time. Boarding is at 7:00pm and departure is at 7:15pm. There are 2 restaurants/wineries along the riverfront in front of the docked boats with plenty of seating while you wait to board. Plan your attendance accordingly as you are looking for parking, walking from a train station/bus stop, or if your Uber driver might not know the exact drop off location for the dock. Plan to be dockside no later than 6:45pm. If you are late and the boat has departed, THE BOAT WILL NOT TURN AROUND ONCE IT HAS LEFT THE DOCK.
