A great nearby town for strolling, shopping and grabbing coffee or lunch. We love The Gryphon cafe for coffee and tea. Christopher's is great for basic lunch. The Ralph family has an ongoing debate about who makes the best cheesesteaks, Paola's or New Wayne Pizza.
Philadelphia

Barnes Collection and Philadelphia Museum of Art
Check out Philadelphia's two world-famous museums. The PMA features collections from throughout history and is in a gorgeous building. The Barnes is smaller and more intimate, known for its collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art. You can't go wrong.
Valley Forge National Historical Park
George Washington camped with the American Continental Army here during a very, very cold winter in 1777/1778.
