FROM THE UNITED STATES
US citizens arriving to Mexico with a US passport do not need tourist visa (if visiting less than 180 days). Your passport must be valid at the time of entry in Mexico. Mexican authorities require a minimum of six months period of validity. If you need to apply/renew your US Passport, please visit State Department’s Website on Passports. Please keep in mind the processing times for passports and how long it may take for you to receive your passport. Please apply early! Additionally, prior to your trip, please consider registering with State Department’s STEP program. STEP stands for Smart Traveler Enrollment Program which will save information for your trip with the nearest US Embassy/Consulate in case of an emergency. For our trip, the nearest consulate is in Merida, but Cancun also has a consular agency. You can find more information on the US Embassy Mexico's website. If you planning to leave the resort please consider doing so with a scheduled travel group and exercise caution. Please stay updated with the embassy website in case any regulations change regarding visas and passport requirements.

FROM PERU
Effective 20 April 2024, Peruvian nationals will be required to have a visitor visa prior to travel, a passport that is valid for at least 180 days and other supporting documents (e.g., invitation letter, hotel/flight reservation) to be admitted. Peruvian nationals will remain exempt from presenting a Mexican visa provided they have: a valid visa issued by Canada, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area. If you planning to leave the resort please consider doing so with a scheduled travel group and exercise caution. ___________________________ A partir del 20 de abril de 2024, los ciudadanos peruanos deberán tener una visa de visitante antes de viajar, un pasaporte válido durante al menos 180 días y otros documentos de apoyo (por ejemplo, carta de invitación, reserva de hotel/vuelo) para ser admitidos. Los ciudadanos peruanos permanecerán exentos de presentar una visa mexicana siempre que tengan: una visa válida emitida por Canadá, Japón, los Estados Unidos de América, el Reino Unido o cualquiera de los países que componen el Espacio Schengen. Si planea salir del resort, considere hacerlo con un grupo de viaje programado y tenga precaución.

FROM MOROCCO
Moroccan passport holders need a visa to visit Mexico. A paper or embassy visa is the only visa available for travelers visiting Mexico. The visa is typically a stamp or sticker added to the passport. Travelers must obtain this visa from a local embassy, consulate or visa center before traveling. Mexico tourist visa requirements: -Holding Moroccan passport that is valid for six months beyond the period of the intended stay in Mexico. -Proof of onward travel (departure) from Mexico. Please stay updated with the embassy website in case any regulations change regarding visas and passport requirements. __________________________________ Les titulaires d'un passeport marocain ont besoin d'un visa pour visiter le Mexique. Un visa papier ou d'ambassade est le seul visa disponible pour les voyageurs visitant le Mexique. Le visa est généralement un tampon ou un autocollant ajouté au passeport. Les voyageurs doivent obtenir ce visa auprès d'une ambassade, d'un consulat ou d'un centre de visa local avant de voyager. The Embassy of Mexico in Canada informs the public that Canadian nationals and permanent residents of Canada do not require a visa to enter Mexico. Canadian nationals must present a valid passport to prove their nationality. Mexican authorities do not require a minimum period of validity of passports; nevertheless, this document must be valid at the time of entry and during the period you wish to be in Mexico. If you are planning to leave the resort please consider doing so with a scheduled travel group and exercise caution. __________________________________ L'ambassade du Mexique au Canada informe le public que les ressortissants canadiens et les résidents permanents du Canada n'ont pas besoin de visa pour entrer au Mexique. Les ressortissants canadiens doivent présenter un passeport valide pour prouver leur nationalité. Les autorités mexicaines n'exigent pas de durée minimale de validité des passeports ; néanmoins, ce document doit être valide au moment de l'entrée et pendant la période pendant laquelle vous souhaitez être au Mexique.
