Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding and all events related to our wedding will be held at the Finest Resort Playa Mujeres, Mexico. This includes the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and the wedding reception. How can we book accommodations?

Answer

Accommodation can be booked directly on the website of the Finest Resort, Playa Mujeres. Step by step instructions are in the "How to Book the Resort" section of the website.

Do I have to stay at Finest Playa Mujeres Resort?

Answer

To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Finest Playa Mujeres, per resort policy. FINEST DOES NOT PROVIDE A ROOM BLOCK; THERE ARE NO GUARANTEED ROOMS FOR OUR EVENT; ROOMS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. If you are interested in attending, please consider booking as soon as possible especially as only a $1 deposit is due at time of booking! For any reason if your plans change, our reservations have free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival. No harm in booking a room now and modifying (by calling their toll free number - USA +1 866-211-6223) or even cancelling later if need be. Finest is one of the highest rated 5-star resorts in Cancun and rooms will likely begin to sell out months before our wedding date.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

Yes, the resort is all-inclusive meaning that your room, food, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included in the price as well as the use of certain amenities.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Answer

Yes, the resort has a policy that all wedding guests must stay at the resort for a minimum of 3 nights.

Are you working with the resort or a travel agency for accommodations?

Answer

We have decided to work directly with the resort so that way if any issues arise, we can address them directly with the resort. With regards to flights, please feel free to book directly with your preferred airline or through a travel agency.

Is the payment for the rooms due at the time of reservation?

Answer

No, please note that when you reserve your room, you'll be charged $1. Your reservation will be charged in full 30 days before your arrival date at the resort to the credit card provided during the booking process. The resort does not allow partial payments. If your payment method has expired or is not active resulting in the payment being declined the resort will cancel your booking. Please make sure it is active because if rebooked at this time, the current rate will be the only option.

What type of rooms are available for booking?

Answer

FINEST SUITES (all ages): Include a stocked minibar with snacks and soft drinks, liquor/ wine selection, pillow menu, and 24- hour room service. FINEST CLUB (all ages): Offer access to two additional pools, a jacuzzi in the pool area, a private beach area, Finest Club Lounge, Finest Club Seaside Restaurant, private check- in and check-out, upgraded liquor and room service menu. You will also receive one Aqua Hydrotherapy treatment per person (12 years and up). EXCELLENCE CLUB (adults only): The suites in this adults only building include an adults only pool and jacuzzi, access to the Excellence Club Lounge, Excellence Bistro Restaurant, private check- in and check-out, upgraded liquor and room service menu. You will also receive one Aqua Hydrotherapy treatment per person. Each of the suites come filled with generous amenities: Jacuzzis for two, premium liquor, and an expansive private balcony.

Will there be roundtrip transportation between airport/resort?

Answer

Yes, the round trip is 1 per room. This means that all guests under the room reservation will have to arrive at the same time to share the same transportation. Minimum three night stay required. Please email transfers@seasonstours.com to schedule your transfer. When emailing them, please provide your flight information (arrival/departure). Please let Rafaela know if you have any issues.

Do I need a passport to enter and exit Mexico?

Answer

Every guest must have a passport, including children! You will need this to board your flight, enter Mexico, and for check-in at the resort. An Enhanced Driver License (EDL) is not acceptable for air travel.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We request that guests wear semi-formal attire which consists of men in coat optional and women in knee to floor length dresses, skirts, or pants. Please do not wear white. Please no jeans, shorts, or swimwear to any formal event.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Cancun International Airport (CUN) Please book flights to Cancun International Airport in Cancun, Mexico (CUN). It is recommended to arrive at least 24-36 hours before the wedding day, in case of delays or flight cancellations and to take full advantage of the resort and events. Reminder- the wedding is on Thursday, April 17th, 2025. We recommend you book your flights as early as possible via your favorite airline.

Any packing tips?

Answer

If you arrive at the resort before check-in, you will be able to access all the amenities of the resort while awaiting your room (pool, restaurants, activities, etc.). For this reason, we recommend packing a quick change of clothes, swimsuit, coverup, even a change of shoes in your carry on so that you can start enjoying all that the resort has to offer. The restaurants have different dress codes and some require more formal attire than others. By viewing the website or downloading the Excellence app, you can view details about each restaurant. Resort gift shops are known for their heightened prices. For this reason, we recommend packing any sunblock and bug spray you may need. Although the resort is all inclusive, it is recommended to pack small bills to tip the staff for exceptional service or any excursions you may want to do. This will also allow you to avoid a high international ATM rate.

The couple will be staying between Sunday April 13th - Sunday April 20th, 2025.

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
