TIME TO TOAST THE FUTURE TERRELLS

It all started when Raleigh landed an internship at the Little Rock headquarters of Stephens Inc. in the Summer of 2018. Andrew had been an equity research associate for about six months when Raleigh caught his eye for the first time as she walked to her desk. Astonished, Andrew circulated the proximity, chit-chatting with associates in adjacent cubicles, trying to muster up the courage to talk to her; this went on for days. A happy hour to introduce the new summer hires took place that week, and as fate would have it, the only seat available at the table for Andrew was directly in front of Raleigh. Andrew finally said something to her having no idea what was coming; her response was in true Raleigh fashion - no woman had ever talked to Andrew that way before. He was hooked. The following weekend, Raleigh and Andrew hiked Pinnacle Mountain for the first time together and returned from the trip best friends.

Andrew and Raleigh picked up their friendship right where it left off as R.B. returned to Little Rock at the beginning of 2019. Within five or so months, a few of their friends had picked up on their chemistry, and Raleigh had even admitted her feelings for Andrew to him; Andrew decided they were better off friends (and kicked himself for it immediately). On June 7, 2019, Andrew decided to ditch the CFA books to join Raleigh and some of the other associates while the group was wrapping up dinner. As everyone went their separate ways, Andrew challenged Raleigh to a bet knowing her competitive nature wouldn’t let her back down from a chance to prove him wrong. She was there one minute before the deadline he gave her, and he made his move. The relationship was kept entirely secret (from Andrew’s perspective) for the rest of the Summer. While taking some time apart, Andrew came to his senses and took Raleigh on a proper date. She initially gave him a hard time but is sufficiently glad she decided to give him another shot. In late 2020, the couple bought and moved into a house together. On the morning of August 6, 2022, the two got up early to hike Pinnacle Mountain, where Andrew proposed after overcoming a series of unfortunate events along the way. Raleigh said yes (obviously).
