Should we bring anything?
Answer
If possible- We’d love to create a memory wall at our wedding. If you have any baby photos of us — or any photos of our parents Kevin, Sara, or Jim Sr. — please bring a printed copy to share. It will mean so much to have these memories with us on our special day.

Are children invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, please note that our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only. Please reach out if you need a local babysitting list that Rakelle created. Thank you for understanding but we hope to see them at the lake day!

What is the dress code?
Answer

Where should we stay?
Answer
Our wedding venue is technically in a small town called Soda Springs, so you’re welcome to look for a place there. Another great option is staying near Donner Lake, which is just a 5–10 minute drive from the venue. Donner Lake is located in Truckee, CA, and has lots of cozy cabins and vacation rentals nearby! Let me know if you have any questions or need help finding a place!

Are there Ubers?
Answer
Uber options are limited in the area. I recommend renting a car for getting around, and for safe drinking nights, consider scheduling an uber or using local taxi services as a backup. Recommendations for Taxi/Shuttle services are under the Places & Links tab.

Where do you park at the venue?
Answer
There is a small parking lot next to the venue and all other parking will be along the dirt road.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will all be outside. Wear sunscreen and bring a coat!
