Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
Wedding guest arrival is from 12:00pm onwards to be promptly seated by 12.30pm If you're any later, then you won't be able to join until after the ceremony has finished. Evening guests should arrive for 7:00pm.

Where is the venue?
Answer
Woodborough Hall. 1 Bank Hill, Woodborough, Nottingham. NG14 6EE. All the days events will take place at this venue.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes- the venue has their own free onsite parking for around 40 cars. Please car share where possible. There is option to leave your vehicle at the venue overnight, but the venue requests you leave your name and contact details with reception. If this becomes full there is large car park at the Four Bells Inn pub (on Main Street NG14 6EA turning right at the bottom of Bank Hill), and also parking available adjacent on Roe Lane. This is around a 10-15 minute walk to Woodborough Hall. There is also parking available at the village hall located on Lingwood Lane (NG14 6DX), which is a 15-20 minute walk to the venue. The venue has requested that you do not park on Bank Hill road itself.

How do I get to and from the venue?

You'll need to find your own way to and from the venue By car: postcode: NG14 6EE *************************************************************************************** By Taxi: Some recommendation: 200 Cars, DG cars, Nottingham Cars or Central Cars. *************************************************************************************** By Public Transport: Bus numbers 46 and 47 run from Nottingham City Centre (Parliament Street) to Woodborough (stops right outside Woodborough Hall). Please see Nottingham City Transport for the bus times and exact route: www.nctx.co.uk If required, the venue staff will kindly book a return taxi for you - please enquire at reception on the day.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The usual formal wedding attire. Please remember that it is January and although we'll be inside for most of the day, it might still be cold! We are hoping to get outside for some formal photos at some point in the day, so if you're part of the wedding party then be prepared.

Can I stay at the venue?
Answer
Unfortunately, the venue only has a very small number of rooms which have all been reserved for family and ourselves. Please see the accommodation section for suggestions on where to stay nearby.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation due to venue capacity.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
You'll need to arrange your own accommodation. Please see the 'Accommodation' section for recommendations.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
Yes, of course! We'd love to for you to take photos and share these with us after the day. We have a professional photographer throughout the wedding, so please allow him priority on the day. We only ask for no photos during the ceremony. Keep your phones away and on silent. We appreciate your understanding.

Are children welcome?

Unfortunately, we have taken the decision to limit the children attending to close family only. Take the opportunity to have a night off!
