Sangeet

7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Ember Restaurant Bar and Banquet
3793 U.S. 1, South Brunswick Township, NJ 08852

Come wearing anything you would be most comfortable to dance in. Ideal preference would be Indian party wear(Lehengas/ Anarkalis for the ladies and kurtas for men). Fret not if you prefer to come wearing your Friday night's best. We would love for you to come party however you dress.

We would be dancing, and making new friends. This is going to be an open bar! I mean, do you really want to dance sober? Dinner would be served with select delicacies specially designed to soak up the shots you would have taken :) Also, there would be Henna artists during the event if anyone would like to get their hands dye'd.

Ganesha and Gowri Pooja These are the prayers offered to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Gowri to seek blessings for our union. 2. Kanyadanam Kanyadanam is the ceremony in which the girl’s family hands over their daughter’s responsibility to the groom. 3. Jilakarra Bellam During this ritual, we place a paste of Jaggery and cumin on each other's heads hoping our marriage would stay tightly entwined. 4. Mangalasutra Dharana Mangalasutra Dharana means tying Mangalasutram. This is when i bind Madhuri 3 knots of matrimonial promise. 5. Akshitalu or Talambralu In the Akshitalu ceremony, we exchange garlands and the guests shower us with rice coated with turmeric. 6.
