When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly let us know if you will be attending no later than July 15th. This will give us the necessary time to confirm head count, seating, meal choices, and final costs with the wedding venue.

What transportation is there from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend driving your own vehicle to the venue, as all guests will be offered valet parking service for safe and convenient access to the event space. Courtesy of Uriah’s company and in celebration of our marriage, we are able to offer a personal discount through Enterprise to friends and family in need of a car rental. Kindly notify us prior to booking to apply to your order. You are also welcome to organize a ride through Uber or Lyft and confirm pick up times in advance. However, we can’t guarantee the availability of drivers in the Malibu hills. An open bar with beer, wine, and liquor will be available for guests over the age of 21. Please make arrangements with a designated driver if you plan to consume. We pray all our loved ones travel safely throughout the weekend.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For this formal event, we anticipate a warm sunny day in Southern California with the coolness of autumn starting to come in. Most of the evening will take place under the shade of big beautiful trees, and chill temperatures after sunset are expected. Following dinner we will move indoors for dancing. Prepare for music to keep you on your feet all night! Gowns, cocktail dresses, tuxedos, and suits are the requested attire. Dress to impress in American or Nigerian fashion. We kindly ask to refrain from wearing any hues of white/ivory and burgundy, and embrace the many vibrant colors of nature for a night in a romantic garden.

Can I bring a date?

We’ve put a lot of time and care into creating our guest list so that our close loved ones can attend and witness one of the most special moments of our lives. We kindly ask that only the individual(s) named on the invitation attend this intimate gathering. That being said, everyone in attendance has officially passed the vibe check. Mix and mingle to meet other beautiful souls and enjoy the magic of the occasion.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love all the kids in our lives, the ceremony and reception will be for adults only. Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Consider this a romantic date night in celebration of everlasting love! We sincerely hope you are able to join us.

We are tremendously blessed to find one another in this life, embark on the journey of marriage with our friends and family by our side, and have the tools to build a wonderful life together! We are honored that you give your time, consideration, and prayers to uplift us.
