Who said that our wedding celebration has to be limited to one day? Don’t get us wrong, the ceremony and reception are great, but we want to provide more options to help us celebrate by extending our big day to all weekend!

How we met

Partners in service, partners for life.

We first met when Taylor was collecting funds to provide safe drinking water to the people living in Haiti. Since then, our relationship continues to revolve around serving others and going on adventures.

The Engagement

Hurricanes, Alligators, and Diamonds... Oh My!

Philip planned an alligator hunt in Venice, Louisiana after having a ring made based on Taylor's ideas & incorporating some family diamonds. Hurricane Ida devastated the area two weeks ahead of time, threatening the surprise proposal. Taylor decided they should go early to work with relief efforts before the hunt. When they finally arrived, Hurricane Nicholas was pounding the Texas coast, & headed for South Louisiana next. They worked in New Orleans for a few days, loaded up Philip's truck with water and tarps from United Way, and headed south to meet up with their guide "Cowboy" in Venice. After Taylor took her nearly 12-foot gator in open water, and while Nicholas churned the water around them, Taylor posed for pictures with everyone. Philip slid in for a photo op too, but Cowboy and Captain "One-Eye" Ed were in on the event and were taking video. The rain had stopped, the band of Nicholas' fury passed for that moment, and a rainbow crossed the sky as Philip proposed (true story). As he asked for Taylor to be his adventure partner and Gator Queen for life, she gave a tear-filled "thumbs up" (aka Gig 'em)... And the rest is history!
