For Brunch and Candlelit Dinner
Dripping in candlelight, this romantic hotspot is not only atmospheric, but the food and drinks are excellent. It is also a great brunch and lunch spot.
Southern Sweet Heat, for Dinner
We lived next to this restaurant for a year after moving to Savannah. It boasts one of the best bars in town, and, among other great dishes, its fried chicken wings and thighs are the best in the South.
French with a Southern Accent, so "Franch," for Dinner
St. Neo's is a seafood brasserie and oyster bar with a southern accent. Check out the mural in St. Neo's main dining room, which Railey took inspiration from for her own mural in our dining room. Also, check out the hidden bar downstairs!
Southern Hospitality, for Dinner
Not hard to figure out where it got its name, the Pink House is a Savannah staple. Make sure you get your reservation well in advance. If you just want to grab a drink, check out the ship's bar and tavern down the stone steps. There is usually a piano player down there who'd love to see you.
Savannah Lunch
A line gathers each morning at 107 West Jones Street. At 11 o'clock, the doors of 107 open and the lunch crowd finds seats at one of the large tables-for-ten shared by strangers. Tabletops are crowded with platters of fried chicken and cornbread dressing, sweet potato souffle, black-eyed peas, okra gumbo, corn muffins and biscuits. The menu changes daily so regulars can have something different every day.
Dinner for Foodies
Centrally located in the heart of Savannah's Landmark Historic District, Husk transforms the essence of Southern food, with a particular emphasis on seafood. Sit at the upstairs bar if you can and ask for Greg.
