Are my children invited?

Answer

While we love your children dearly, this is an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearer. If you need assistance with childcare while you are in town, please text Devin at (240)838-9996 and I would be happy to provide a list of local sitters that have been vetted by our friends.

What should I wear?

Answer

"Dressy casual" attire is requested. Tampa can be quite warm until the sun goes down, so no need for men to wear a suit jacket unless you want to! For those wishing to wear heels, the ceremony will be on turf and you may wish to walk in the grass for river views. We recommend avoiding stilettos- wedges would be a better option or a chunky heel. Also do not forget to check the forecast. Sometimes in Tampa the nights can drop significantly compared to daytime.

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

For all hotel guests, we will be providing a trolley to and from the venue. The trolleys will leave the Sheraton hotel at 4:45pm sharp. ** For guests staying at the Aloft, pick-up will be in front of the Sheraton. Go right when you exit the hotel from the main entrance and you will see the Sheraton in just one block on the right-hand side. If you miss the last trolley, please call a quick Uber/Lyft and proceed to Tampa Garden Club at 2629 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end between 10:45pm-11pm, but trolleys will begin transporting guests back to the hotels at 9:30pm or as needed.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Answer

We kindly ask that you only bring a guest if specified on your invitation to help us stay within our budget.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 2, 2022.

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We will have hand sanitizer available throughout the reception space. Masks are optional, but we do ask that you please stay at home if you have any symptoms of or have been exposed to COVID-19.

Will there be meals available for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, gluten-free and vegan options are available upon request. You do not need to notify us ahead of time. However, if you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance.

Can I take and post photos at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you DO NOT use your phone during our ceremony (including the bride and groom exiting down the aisle) as we would hate to see cell phones in our beautiful professional photos. We promise to share all of these photos with you all after the wedding. After the ceremony, feel free to use those phones whenever you want. Thank you in advance for honoring this request.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Overnight parking at the hotels is $30 per night. There are plenty of fun things to do within walking distance of the hotel; however, if you plan to travel outside of the city often, a car rental may be a good idea. It is very easy to order a Lyft or Uber in downtown Tampa and they have motorized scooters you can rent throughout the city.
