The Wedding Website of Rachel Moore and Rafael Ronquillo
Photo from our first visit to NatureBridge. We both got teary-eyed thinking about bringing our loved ones to this special place and we immediately knew that if we were going to have a wedding, it would have to be here.

Travel Note

Getting to Nature Bridge / Lake Crescent

As you start to plan your trip, please keep in mind that Nature Bridge is roughly 3 hours from Seattle and from SeaTac Airport. The easiest and most affordable way for most folks to get there will be to fly into SeaTac, rent a car from the airport and drive to the lake. We encourage everyone to carpool and to coordinate with your friends and family members. See below for car pool spreadsheet! ALSO! Consider taking the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge. It's an enjoyable ~35 min ride with great views and will cut down the time you spend in your car :)

Travel Note

CAR POOL

If you need a ride and prefer not to rent a car OR if you have room in your car and are able to offer a ride, please follow the 'VIEW' link bellow to our car pool spreadsheet! Note that there are two sheets--the first is for folks looking for a ride, the second is for folks offering a ride.

Arrival Time Considerations

Because Nature Bridge is a bit of a trek from the airport, if your schedule allows you to fly in on Thursday (or earlier if you want to make a bigger trip out of it!) that would be ideal. On Thursday night, you could stay in Seattle, Port Angeles, Sol Duc Hotsprings Resort or Lake Crescent Lodge which is where we will likely be! We would absolutely love to have extra time to hang with any of you who arrive to the Peninsula before Friday evening. As of now, our plan is to spend Wednesday and Thursday night at Lake Crescent Lodge and spend those days hiking, soaking in the hot springs, and swimming at the lake. Details TBD.

Flight

SeaTac / Victoria / Friday Harbor

SeaTac International Airport will be the most affordable spot to fly in. You could also check out flights into Victoria, BC & Friday Harbor (on San Juan Island) and then take a ferry to Port Angeles and rent a car in Port Angeles or take the public bus to Nature Bridge.

Hotel

Lake Crescent Lodge

416 Lake Crescent Road, Port Angeles, WA 98363

Lake Crescent Lodge is just down the road from Nature Bridge. It's a ~15 minute walk through the forest (the Moments in Time Trail) or alongside the quiet road (3 minutes by car). Hopefully you've already received an email from us with all the details and logistics. If you haven't received it yet, we'll send it your way after you RSVP! If you already RSVP'd but didn't receive an email within a week or two of doing so, please let us know :)

Travel Note

Public Transportation from Seattle to Nature Bridge

It will be a journey but it can be done! From the airport, take the lightrail to Pioneer Square and walk 13 minutes to the ferry terminal. Catch the a ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island or to Kingston. Direct bus routes run from both of those ferry terminals to Port Angeles. Once in Port Angeles, there is a local bus route that will take you alongside Lake Crescent and will drop you off right in front of Nature Bridge. We are hoping to try this out this summer and will report back :)

For all the days along the way
