Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sara Raffa and Adam Garson
There are endless things to do and places to explore in and around Como, but here are some suggestions!
Villa Carlotta

Villa Carlotta

2 Via Regina, Lombardia 22019, Italy
0344 40405

Prussian princess, Carlotta, received the villa as a wedding gift from her mother in 1847. Today, Villa Carlotta is open to wander amongst the botanical gardens and visit the princess’s former home. Villa Carlotta is open every day and a 5 minute walk from both Tremezzo and Cadennabia

Bellagio

Bellagio

Lombardy 22021, Italy

A quick ferry ride from Tremezzo, Bellagio is known as the pearl of the lake. It's the prettiest town on the lake, with lots of restaurants, shops and streets to explore. No matter which way you look, the views are superb and usually framed by gardens or carefully maintained buildings. Make sure to visit the beautiful gardens at Villa Melzi.

Como

Como

Como, Lombardy 22100, Italy

The City of Como (which gave its name to the lake) is easy to walk around, and its tourist attractions are within walking distance of the train station and ferry landing. Once in Como, you can take the funicular up to Brunate, stroll along the lakefront promenade, visit the beautiful gardens of Villa Olmo or see the Duomo of Como. From Brunate, there are also a few hiking trails. The Basilica di San Fedele is located in the city center and has a craft and antiques market on Saturdays - just make sure to leave plenty of time to get back for the wedding boats! You can easily reach Como from Tremezzo by Ferry.

Golf Club Menaggio Cadenabbia

12 Via Golf, Grandola ed Uniti, Lombardia 22010, Italy
, 0344 32103

One of the oldest and best regarded clubs in Europe, and a quick taxi from Tremezzo. We suggest booking in advance since it's high season!

Italian Cooking Class

Tremezzo, Italy

We don’t have a particular class or company to recommend, but it’s hard to go wrong with an Italian cooking class!
