Christy is Kelli's matron of honor. They met as random roommates freshman year of college and immediately became best friends. Kelli accepted Christy's pet guinea pigs and Christy dealt with Kelli's messy side of the room. Christy has always been there for Kelli. She almost knows her better than she knows herself. Lauren is Kelli’s matron of honor. She is her cousin, “big sister,” and role model. Growing up in a family of all boys, they had to stick together. Lauren showed Kelli the ropes when it came to music and fashion. Kelli liked to challenge Lauren's athleticism. Lauren may be able to beat Kelli in an arm wrestling contest, but Kelli will always be taller. Spotted together: dancing to Kaskade, having healthy competitions, or catching up on reality tv shows.

Elsa is Kelli's sister-in-law. Kelli, Alex, Elsa, and Kevin get along extremely well. They have gone on many trips together. Kelli and Elsa once convinced Alex and Kevin to go all the way to Arizona to watch Jonathan Van Ness perform. Elsa's love of reading inspires Kelli to read more books. Kelli appreciates how Elsa is always there to listen and give advice. Kelli respects her opinion more than she knows. Spotted together: on the Peloton, at family dinners, or watching Bretman Rock videos.
Stephanie Tercero

Stephanie is Kelli’s oldest friend. They have been close friends since 1998. They performed in talent shows and worked on rose parade floats. Stephanie persuaded Kelli to play softball and basketball, broadening her sports resumé. After college, Stephanie moved to Paris. Kelli misses her so much, but they keep in touch by sending each other voice notes. Spotted together: on FaceTime, at UCLA football games, or maybe Paris in the future
Megha Chawla

Megha and Kelli go way back. They went to the same elementary school, lost touch, and reconnected during their college years. Kelli would visit Megha at UCR and Megha would let her crash in her dorm room. Megha is also Kelli's unofficial, official doctor. She gives her medical advice whenever she needs it. Megha has been there for most of Kelli's craziest stories. Spotted together: going on walks, late-night Taco Bell runs with Alex, or catching up at brunch.
Lauren Román

Lauren and Kelli met in high school. Lauren helped Kelli pass Spanish and Kelli helped Lauren pass art. As they moved on to separate colleges, they remained close. They became an inseparable trio with Megha. Even though Lauren hates EDM and country music, Kelli overlooks that flaw because her commitment to friends, her thoughtfulness, and her sassiness make her a pretty amazing person. Spotted together: listening to 1D, catching up at brunch, or running a half marathon…maybe?

Megan is Kelli’s party friend. They met in 2013 through a mutual friend. Megan's sweet and easygoing demeanor made it easy for Kelli to be her friend. Megan is the hostess with the mostest and plans the best parties. Megan's fiancé, Eric, is one of Alex's groomsmen. They are always down to hang out with Kelli and Alex, except if it’s in the morning. Spotted together: drinking, playing board games, or having dance parties

Nina is Kelli’s work bestie. She pushes Kelli to try new things. Nina once convinced Kelli to co-present with her at a teaching conference in Palm Springs. After that trip together, they became inseparable. Nina takes Kelli to all the best food places in town. It is because of her, she is addicted to Kazu Nori and Sunright. Jesus, Hallowed be thy name, aka Carlitos, is the best, man. The definition of ride (the lightning) or die. The ultimate hype man. The gentle giant. The trooper without fear of the dark. The One for whom the bell tolls when we must fight fire with fire. IYKYK, nothing else matters. Spotted together: killing it at karaoke, head banging at Iron Maiden, or settling Catan.

Eric is the brutha from anotha mutha. They met while working at the 626 Night Market. Unbeknownst to them, their lives had crossed paths multiple times throughout the 626 area before that from elementary school to college. Now Eric has become an integral part of Alex's life and will continue to be. Their friendship started hot, spread like wildfire, and now we all got to deal with it. Spotted together: going on double dates, picking up the girls in the middle of the night, straight chillin.

Alex's younger brother. The middle one. Everyone knows what they say about the middle child, they're the lucky ones. They get the best of both worlds! He gets to learn from his awesome big brother and instill his wisdom upon his younger brother. You're welcome lil' bro! Spotted together: working out, watching sports, or chillin wit da homies.
Andrew Esparza

Andy. Andrew. Andres. Alex's youngest brother. He may be taller, more athletic, more skilled at video games and have better hair than Alex, but at least Alex can beat him in ping pong! Regardless of all that, Alex loves his baby brother and will always be there for him and vice versa. Spotted together: playing soccer, getting pentas on LOL, or dunking on Isaias.

Izzy is Alex's high school bully. Seriously. Don't worry we softened him up a bit and found out he's a sweetheart with quite the affinity for trash talking, whether it be in our fantasy sports chats or out playing any sport. Izzy is as loyal as the come and always ready to backup Alex. Spotted together: bowling, playing kickball, or hating on my fantasy sports tactics.
Kevin Matsumoto

Kevin is the B.I.L., fan of Kirill the Thrill, the guy with hockey skill, with wisdom to instill, kept it chill when he approved of Alex by his own free will. He has always made Alex feel accepted and "one of the family". He has even given him entry into his prestigious fantasy hockey league, but of course like a normal big brother, will never let Alex win. Spotted together: at Kings games, run club, or family gatherings.
Jose Perez

Jose is The Dude. Married to Kelli's best friend, Christy, we have been closely integrated into each other's lives. Trust me when we say we do not mind that at all, but maybe the girls do! Nonetheless, Jose quickly became a close friend, a confidant and an all-around admirable broski. Spotted together: at Gyu Kaku, game nights, or yelling at his TV.

Victor is the OG. He's had Alex's back since 1995. From the playgrounds of our elementary school days, to the numerous soccer pitches we waged war on, down to the classrooms we challenged ourselves in, our friendship grew and strived.
