Bride
I have the great joy and honor of becoming Dionte’s wife. As we prepare to celebrate one of the most meaningful days of our lives, I feel deeply grateful to be surrounded by such a special group of people. Our wedding party is made up of friends and family who have been with us through every chapter — many of whom we’ve known since childhood and who have grown with us into adulthood. Their unwavering love, laughter, and support have shaped who we are, and having them stand beside us as we begin this next chapter means more than words can express. To each member of our bridal party: thank you for your friendship, your encouragement, and for being part of our story. We are truly honored to share this moment with you. Thank you for being part of our celebration and for walking with us through the moments, both big and small, that have led us to this day. Your presence in our lives is a gift we deeply cherish, and we couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without you by our side.
Mother of the Bride
The day you were born, I became a mom. What a journey this has been and continues to be. There have been highs and lows and lots of in-betweens. Being the eldest of all, I’m sure, came with some pressures and responsibilities, but more than those, I hope you know the honor and privilege it has been to be your Mom. Rae gave me the title Mama. Being my first born she shared all my trials and tribulations and stood by my side through thick and thin. At age 12 you were my nurse when I was battling Leukemia and you were stronger than any 12 year old I've ever known. Watching you grow into the God-fearing, strong, powerful and amazing woman and mother makes my heart full. As you begin the next chapter of your journey, know that I will be here to support you and love you, just as I've always been. But also recognize there will be a new person cheering in your corner, too. Dionte is everything I could have ever hoped for in a husband for you. I wish you a lifetime of happiness, love, and laughter together. May your journey be filled with adventure, joy, and unwavering love. Love Mama

Maid of Honor
I still remember the first time I met Raelen we were just little kids in Pre-K, she is one of my first best friends. Who would’ve thought that tiny classroom was the start of a lifelong friendship? From finger painting to final exams, we’ve truly grown up together. Throughout the years you have always been connected, 8:30 mass at Sacred Heart, choir practice, Jr. Daughters, Market Basket aka “ the dusty bucket” the list can go on. Finally we found ourselves as college roommates sharing dorm rooms, late-night study sessions, way too much coffee, and even more laughters exploring NOLA together. We’ve seen each other through every phase of life: the awkward, the amazing, and everything in between. I also met Dionte in college while he was dating Raelen. We had some good times as I was the road trip buddy to Rae while traveling to visit him at school and meeting his basketball teammates.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Raelen for many years, thanks to our brothers being best friends. Our bond grew stronger when I started doing her hair, and for over five years, I had the joy of being her hairstylist. Through this experience, we became not just friends, but sisters. Our connection deepened even more when I became the godmother of her beautiful baby girl. I met Dixon while getting to know Raelen more closely, and it's been wonderful to witness their love story unfold. Their relationship is a beautiful example of partnership and love, and I couldn't be happier for them as they start this new chapter together.

I’ve known the bride for as long as I can remember—literally. I met her on the day I was born, and she’s been my big sister ever since. From the beginning, she’s been someone I’ve looked up to—not just because she’s older, but because of her strength, kindness, and heart. Growing up with her meant having a built-in role model, a second mom at times, and a best friend I could always count on. Watching her become the incredible woman she is today has been such a privilege, and seeing her find someone who loves and cherishes her the way she deserves makes my heart so full.

Raelen and I met when we were 21 through mutual friends — who would’ve thought our bond would grow into the beautiful sisterhood we have today? We’ve shared some unforgettable times! You’re truly the little sister I never had — always down for a laugh, a jam, a deep talk, or a good cry. My girl, Miss Rae Rae. One of my best friends, hands down. Watching you grow spiritually, step into motherhood, and now become a WIFE — I couldn’t be more proud of you, baby girl. You’ve bloomed into such an amazing woman. And Dionte — I’ve known him since forever, seriously, since we were kids. Always brought the vibes, but always had our backs too. A real one, especially when rolling with the crew.

I first met Raelen when we were both in the 6th grade, sitting next to each other in our social studies class. From that very first day, we clicked, sharing laughter and secrets during lunch. Over the years, we have become inseparable companions, navigating the ups and downs of school and life side by side. It has been a true joy to witness Raelen evolve into the remarkable young woman she is today—full of strength, grace, and an inspiring spirit that uplifts everyone around her. Her determination and passion for her dreams shine brightly, and I have no doubt that she will achieve everything she sets her mind to. I wholeheartedly wish for all her hopes and aspirations to come true. To my incredible brother, Dionte, words cannot fully capture how proud I am of you! You are truly a steadfast presence in my life, a person I can always rely on. Your unwavering support and strength inspire me every day, and I am so happy that Raelen has someone as remarkeable as you by her side. I love you both dearly.

I had the pleasure of meeting my lifelong best friend when we were in middle school. She was so much fun, full of life, and caring, and I knew I wanted to be her friend. We grew closer after exchanging numbers and calling each other to watch scary movies together so I could tell her when the scary parts were coming up. From there, our relationship grew even stronger. We’ve been there for each other through the best of times, and especially the worst of times, and I couldn’t ask for anyone else to be there for me like she does. I met Dionte while Rae was dating him in high school. I was pleased to know that Dionte was a gentleman to my best friend, caring for her as she needs. I’m so glad to have witnessed the two of them choose each other and strive every day to be the versions of themselves for one another.

I’ve had the unique privilege of knowing Raelen my entire life being the younger brother of hers and through every chapter, from our wild adventures as kids to the countless laughs and talks as adults, we’ve been inseparable. We’ve shared a lifetime of stories, inside jokes, and unforgettable memories, and I couldn’t be prouder to celebrate this new and incredible chapter in her life.

Raelen, what a journey it’s been. I have been in your life since we were babies at Wonder Land of Play, to Oak Park, to now but one thing about us the love and friendship never changed. We’ve always had the tea for each other and the serious conversations checking in on each other mental when needed. I never needed another girl best friend and even when they did try you got salty but nobody could ever replace you. I couldn’t be more happy and excited for the life that’s ahead of you I know it’ll be great for you and yours so I’ll forever love you and be here every step of the way. Dionte Jerome……lol, Dixon my brother we knew each other from around the way growing up but when we locked in at WM the relationship never changed. One of the realest I’ve ever came passed and when Raelen told me she had a crush on you at the WM game I knew she was making the right choice. Keep being you cause that’s more than enough…… to forevr🥂
