Our story began on a warm day in 2012, at a pool party neither of us could have imagined would change our lives forever. We were just two teenagers from rival high schools—Dionte, a gifted basketball star at Washington Marion High School, and I, a graceful Gatorette dancer from LaGrange Senior High. We didn’t know much about each other then, but something clicked. It was love at first sight, the kind that lingers and grows. As high school sweethearts, we created memories filled with laughter, support, and young love. Life took us in different directions after graduation, giving us space to grow and discover the world—but through every chapter, we always found our way back to each other. Now, we share a beautiful life with our two precious children, Noah and Nylah, and our sweet dog, Simba. They are our greatest joy and the heart of everything we do. Together, we’ve built a home full of love, laughter, and warmth—and we know the best is still to come. On December 15, 2023, during a Christmas party we hosted for our closest friends and family, Dionte got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. With full hearts and happy tears, we stepped into a new chapter—one we’ve both dreamed of for years. We are so excited to celebrate our love and future with all of you.
