Their bond, formed in high school through Pat’s guidance and generosity (as both of their surrogate father), has grown into a lasting chosen family. Raegan is incredibly proud of the life Josiah is building for his family and of his unwavering commitment to always giving his best to those he loves.

Though not Raegan’s biological father, Pat stepped into a profoundly important role in her life during high school, offering guidance when she needed it most, first in volleyball and softball, and eventually far beyond the field. What started as athletic coaching evolved into life mentorship, with Pat serving as a constant source of encouragement, perspective, and patience. His influence played a meaningful part in shaping Raegan into a stronger, more self-aware, and kinder-to-herself adult. All of this and more makes Pat the ideal father figure, someone who Raegan, or honestly anyone, can always rely on when they need help or advice!
