Where should guests stay for the wedding?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks reserved for your convenience! One is slightly closer to the wedding venue, and the other is nearer to the Averbook home. Feel free to choose whichever location works best for you.

We have reserved a hotel block for guests - book through our link on the Travel page! Please book within 3 weeks of the wedding date.

Can I stay additional nights before or after the wedding at the same rate?

Answer

Unfortunately, the special rate is only guaranteed for the dates in our block. If you’d like to stay longer, you’re welcome to contact the hotel directly to check availability and pricing for extra nights.

Is parking included or available at the hotel?

Answer

Yes, parking should be available at the hotel. If you need additional details (cost, valet vs. self-parking, etc.), the hotel staff can confirm.

Will transportation be provided between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

Transportation between the hotel and venue is still TBD. Currently, rideshares and carpooling are expected to be the primary options.

Yes, parking is available at the venue. There should be plenty of space for guests.

Can guests use rideshares or shuttles easily in the area?

Answer

Yes, rideshares are available, but plan to allow extra time for pickup. Carpooling is recommended to save money and simplify transportation.

Which airport should guests fly into?

Answer

Guests can fly into either Cleveland Hopkins (CLE) or Akron-Canton (CAK). Cleveland is typically closer to the venue.

What’s the weather typically like around the wedding date?

Answer

Late May in Cleveland is usually mild and comfortable. Expect daytime highs around the low 70s and cooler evenings in the low 50s. Rain is possible, so bringing a light jacket or umbrella is a good idea.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. It is recommended that guests arrive by 4pm.

Dinner will be a buffet-style, self-serve Italian meal with a variety of options to suit different tastes.

Yes - there will be a vegetarian option available. Servers will be available to guide you.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, while the reception, dinner, and after-party will be indoors. In case of rain, the ceremony may be moved indoors. Expect the weather to be pleasant, with highs reaching to 73 and lows at night from 52-59 degrees.
