Raeann and Corey's story began in 2016 at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where Raeann (a senior) met Corey (the interim Jazz Ensemble director). They quickly bonded over British television, Seinfeld, and music, spending their early days exploring the rural Midwest's small towns and forests, playing off-road bocce ball. Following Knox, they spent nearly three years long-distance dating, spanning state lines, countries, and the Salish Sea. In summer 2020, they closed the gap. Raeann moved into The Honey Pot in SE Portland, where they made the most of the pandemic and their love deepened. By 2023, they settled into their own space, in Corbett, Oregon, with their cat Ocho and beloved dog Gus (forever in their hearts). Corey and Rae are incredibly grateful for their life, family, and supportive community. And they can't wait to celebrate their upcoming commitment with all of you. #HeppnersGetHitched
