Question

When should I book?

Answer

Now! Everyone and their mother wants to be in Italy in September, so beat the crowd and get to booking. Specifically in Lake Como, many accommodations have already begun to fill up.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We will be in Lake Como a few days before festivities begin. You will need to arrive in Milan by Monday, September 16th, to travel to GHT on Tuesday the 17th. If your room is not ready by the time you arrive to GHT on Tuesday, they will happily store your bags and you are more than welcome to use our room. All in all, we recommend arriving in Europe at least 24-48 hours prior to beginning your journey to GHT. This will allow your body to adjust to the time change and your mind to be less stressed about traveling to Como.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are planning on staying in Como outside of September 17th through 20th at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, we have provided some recommendations under the 'Where to Stay' tab of this website.

Question

What's not covered?

Answer

We're talking cash baby! Flights, any hotel stays outside the three nights at GHT, food and drink outside of the provided breakfast and wedding activities are your responsibility. While the three nights are covered, any incidentals/room charges while on property are also yours to pay for.

Question

Who can come?

Answer

Is their name on the invitation? Then they're invited. This isn't Fantasy Football, there are no last minute substitutions! Also, like professional sports, there are no children or babies playing. So please leave the kids at home, it's adult time! We lovingly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner: Fun and Fancy Cocktail Attire Wedding Day: Creative Black Tie Creative Black Tie is a dress code that still means formal attire, but with the ability to add hints of your own personal style. This means including the use of different textures, prints, patterns, colors, or accessories to create your own fun, elegant look. Colors should not be overly-whimsical or with a "splash of summer", but you can explore outside the box with colors like deep burgundy reds, plums, forest greens, golds, grays, or deep blues.
