Welcome to one of our favorite places in the world. This area has plenty of outdoor activities, beautiful waterfalls, and awe-inspiring rock formations. Here are some of our recommendations!

Yosemite National Park

California

40 Minute drive to the entrance gate and an additional 20 minutes to the Yosemite Valley. Rock climbing and hikes ranging from family friendly, paved half-mile loops to extreme difficulty. Beautiful drive around Yosemite Valley with lots of sightseeing. Driving up to Glacier Point is a must-see and offers a great vantage point above the valley. Reservations are not required so we recommend arriving early as parking fills up fast. National Park pass/ entrance fee required.

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

California

60 Minute drive. Our venue overlooks the Hetch Hetchy Valley! This is a great place to experience Yosemite National Park away from the crowds. The main activities are hiking, fishing, and bird watching. Swimming is NOT allowed. Parking is limited so get there early. National Park pass/ entrance fee required.

Yosemite Basecamp

18 minute drive. Adventure company offering many different types of tours and rentals including guided hiking, backpacking, rafting, mountain biking, off-roading tours and adaptive tours for people of all ages and abilities as well. Booking in advance required.

Pine Mountain Lake

Pine Mountain Lake, CA 95321

20 minute drive. Scenic lake recreation area. Amenities include kayak, SUP, pedal boat, and gas fishing boat rentals. There are also multiple blocked off swimming areas. Parking fills up quick so get there early.

Rainbow Pool

California 120, Groveland, CA 95321

5 minute drive or 40 minute walk. Swimming hole with a waterfall and a small rocky beach area. Walking upstream offers more swimming holes and privacy. Parking is 10$ CASH ONLY.
