Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All wedding events are taking place at Lillaskog Lodge. Lillaskog Lodge is located at 27557 Packard Cyn Rd, Groveland, CA 95321. We have rented out the entire lodge for some family and ourselves but unfortunately the lodge cannot accommodate everyone. Under the “Travel” section of this website we have listed the nearest hotels to our venue.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day (June 22) ?

Answer

Formal/ Black Tie Creative Elegant attire with room for personality. Gowns, chic midis, or sharp suits with fun details. Our wedding colors are Burnt Orange, Evergreen, and Dark Navy Blue. We are not having a wedding party and would love if everyone could wear different shades of these three colors. The ceremony will be taking place on grass and we plan to have music and dancing afterwards- choose your shoes wisely. DO NOT WEAR WHITE! See the “Dress Code” tab for inspiration!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors . The average temperature in Groveland in late June ranges from a high of 86F in the day to a low of 55F at night. Some would describe the area as pleasantly warm and slightly breezy. In the unlikely case of rain our hosts will put up a large tent that covers the reception area.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is parking on-site. You will pass Lillaskog Lodge and park on the private dirt road on property. After exiting the highway most of the road up to the venue is a well maintained dirt road- all cars can safely make this drive just be careful and drive slowly.

Is there a dress code for the Summer Solstice Welcome Dinner?

Answer

There is not a dress code per se but we do have a theme- think sunset-summertime-celestial Sun and Moon vibes. Don’t feel required to dress according to theme but have fun with it if you feel so inclined! Examples would be sun and moon patterns, sunset colors, or something that exudes summer time. See the “Dress Code” tab for inspiration!

Is there a dress code for the morning after brunch on June 23?

Answer

No there is no dress code- wear your brunchiest outfit!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will be having a buffet dinner with multiple options. When you RSVP please let us know of any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to work with the caterer to accommodate.

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any plus-ones. We are having a very small/intimate wedding and only the guests on the invitations will be invited. Thank you for your understanding.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website which will be available at a later date. The RSVP date will be established on the invitation.
