Travel Options
We know many of you will be traveling from other midwestern states. If your journey brings you around Lake Michigan, consider taking a car ferry between Wisconsin and Michigan on one leg of your trip for some variety. The SS Badger has been a staple in the Rader family for years to visit between Michigan and Saint Paul. For a faster trip, the Lake Express Ferry is only a 2.5 hour journey.
Flight
Grand Rapids, Gerald R. Ford International Airport
For those who wish to fly, the Gerald Ford Regional Airport is the closest to Pentwater. Flights to Chicago may also be a good option with a 4.5 hour car ride to get to your final destination
House Or Rental
Hotels and House Rentals
As the wedding is small, we have not booked a hotel block. Hotels are available nearby - the Day's Inn just outside of town is surprisingly well taken care of. There are also many Bed and Breakfasts, Airbnb and Vrbo options in Pentwater, Hart, or Silver Lake. Ludington is a bigger town nearby and will have more hotel options to choose from.
