Maid of Honor
If you know Sam, there's a 99% chance you also know Allison. Best friends since first grade, they have never known life apart. From grade school classmates, to high school neighbors, to college roommates, to living in two halves of the same duplex, they're a package deal. Sam couldn't imagine anyone else being by her side on her big day and hopes Ryan knows that he's marrying Allison, too.
Co-Best Man
While John may be Ryan’s dad, they are also best friends. John is one half of the very supportive parents Ryan has been blessed with. Ryan is slowly becoming more and more like John every day and he’s okay with that. There’s only one person on this Earth who can call Ryan “Ry” and that’s his dad. Ryan is lucky to have a dad like John and is honored to have him as his co-best man.
Bridesmaid
Angela and Sam first met in college as journalism majors at Ohio University, but it wasn't until they both moved to Cleveland that they became BFFs. Sam and Ryan introduced Angela and Jason (who got married in August!) and Angela introduced them to her "other" friends. They are all now one big friend-family and Sam is so thankful to Angela for making Cleveland feel like home.
Co-Best Man
The other half of the co-best men duo, Jason and Ryan have a 20+ year old friendship dating back to preschool at Smith Elementary School. No, really, look how cute they are in that picture. Jason and Ryan have bonded over the years through a love of video games and sports. They became best friends during high school while playing football and an unreasonable amount of Halo 2 together. Ryan and Sam introduced Jason and Angela, who got married in August!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Sam met in high school when they went to the same youth group conference. Sam immediately thought that Steph was one of the kindest, funniest people she'd ever met. They went on to become college roommates and forever friends. Despite living states away from each other now, every time they reunite it's like no time has passed.
Groomsman
Jeremy was a member of the "other" friend group that Angela introduced Sam and Ryan to several years ago. Jeremy was hesitant at first, but eventually developed a full-fledged bromance with Ryan (the picture above was taken during their attempt to do the Dirty Dancing lift at Jason and Angela's wedding). He has told Sam on numerous occasions how lucky she is to have landed such a catch. They share a love of sports and Ready Player One, and Ryan is very glad to have Jeremy stand by him on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Sam met several years ago when Taylor and Allison first started dating. Now, Sam considers Taylor one of her closest friends and couldn't be happier that Allison has found someone so awesome. Ryan and Taylor are total bros and there was actually some debate over whether Taylor would be a bridesmaid or groomswoman. This is just a testament to how much Ryan and Sam both love Taylor, even when she steals Sam's poker money.
Groomsman
Jeff and Ryan met while attending the University of Dayton during their sophomore year, while Ryan was rushing Sigma Phi Epsilon. After realizing Ryan was a fellow Clevelander and Browns fanatic, Jeff chose Ryan as his little in their fraternity and the rest is history. We won’t go into details of the shenanigans Jeff and Ryan participated in while in college, but a few highlights include drinking moonshine in a sewer and waking up at 6 a.m. to play drunken volleyball in 40-degree weather. Jeff was a big part of making Dayton feel like home and Ryan couldn’t be happier they both ended up settling down in Cleveland.
Bridesmaid
Kayla is Ryan's little sister and met Sam shortly after Ryan and Sam started dating. Sam and Kayla immediately bonded over ganging up on Ryan, much to his displeasure. Sam is so impressed by Kayla's kindness and work ethic and can't wait to FINALLY have a sister. She sees many more rom-com nights in their future.
Groomsman
Jacob is Sam’s younger brother, but Ryan considers him a friend as well. Almost immediately, Jacob and Ryan figured out they could be friends and not just “Sam’s brother” and “Sam’s boyfriend.” It’s pretty crazy how effective the statement “Go Browns” can be on a friendship, but that’s all it took. Jacob made Ryan feel like he was part of the family from day one. Ryan will continue to press Jacob into moving to Cleveland so they can get season tickets to the Browns.
