David and Stephanie met in 2006, when they were young and stupid. They dated for a while, then they didn’t. They did some stuff with their lives, reconnected in 2017 when they were less young and slightly less stupid, and now they’re getting married.

Stephanie and David first met in 2006. David had just moved from LA to Oakland with his dog Duff, and was roommates with Stephanie’s childhood friends Jason and Drew. Stephanie thought, who is this cute new roommate from Craigslist? And his owner is pretty cool too! Stephanie and David started dating, but alas, it was not to be (yet). In 2009, Stephanie moved to Paris for grad school, David moved back to LA, and that was that…. until Stephanie returned from Paris. In 2017, the two reignited their relationship, and the rest is history. After they are married, David will move back to Oakland where they will live in Stephanie’s ridiculously small cottage with her cat Monkey. He must love her a lot.
