This pre-wedding ritual is a significant tradition in Indian weddings, symbolizing luck, joy, and love. The bride's design often incorporates her partner's name, adding a personal touch. Not only the bride, but female family members and friends will also be adorned with beautiful henna designs. For easier application, please wear short sleeves. We're so excited to celebrate our love and joy with you at our Sangeet Ceremony. Sangeet" means "music" in Hindi, and the ceremony is a night filled with music, dance, and laughter. The Sangeet is one of our favourite pre-wedding traditions, where there will be choreographed dance performances by family members and friends. The Sangeet is about more than just dancing; it’s about bringing our families together and celebrating the blending of two worlds. It's a chance for us to let loose, enjoy the company of our loved ones, making this night one we’ll always cherish. We can’t wait dance the night away! See you on the dance floor!

We are overjoyed to have your presence at our Traditional Wedding Ceremony. One thing that's synonymous with all Maharashtrian weddings is the importance of specific rituals and traditions that have deep-rooted values and been passed down from one generation to another. Some of these wedding traditions include Baraat: the groom's arrival with dance and fanfare Seemanpuja: the bride's mother welcoming the groom Kanyadaan: the father "giving away the bride" Saptapadi: the wedding vows - taken by walking 7 times around the holy fire Maharashtrian weddings have simple customs, marked by sweet, soulful interactions amongst close friends and family. It is not just the union of two individuals but the coming together of two families, cultures, and traditions. We feel incredibly blessed to have you with us as we take these sacred vows and begin our married life. Your presence will make our special day even more meaningful and memorable.
