September 6th, please!
The welcome party will be Friday, October 10th, at Casa Helena Dos Amantes, in the heart of Roma Norte. We'll have food, drinks, and a few surprises–we'd love to have you, but no pressure if you can't make it!
Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX).
Don't rent a car in Mexico City, or take random cabs. Download Uber instead, because it's reliable and affordable. Our planners can help coordinate drivers if you need one for anything, but we'll provide transportation to and from the wedding venue.
Creative black tie: feel free to dress formal, but fun! Indian clothes are welcome and encouraged, but by no means mandatory.
Invitations will specify whether or not they include a plus one. If you have any questions or need to discuss special circumstances, please feel free to contact us.
We love you and your kids, but unfortunately our venue has an age minimum for guests. Your invitation should specify whether your children fall within that limit, but if you have any questions or need special accommodations, please let us know! For those of you bringing kiddos and family with you, please let us know and we're happy to help arrange care and activities.
There will be a shuttle for the wedding on Saturday, going back and forth between the Andaz and our venue, Casa Xipe.
No, unfortunately, but if enough people sign a petition maybe we'll consider it.
Make sure your passport is up to date and pack appropriately for the weather. Mexico City is at high elevation, and temperatures will be in the high 70s and low 50s. If you're sensitive to elevation like Rachita is, bring ibuprofen and make sure to hydrate. For more details, check out the 'Things to Do' tab.
Because we wanted to take all of our loved ones hostage and force you to have the best vacation of your lives. Duh. The real answer: we fell in love with Mexico City during our first visit in 2019, on a trip for Rachita’s birthday. In the six years since then, we’ve come back eight times for work and for fun, and will hopefully keep coming back for the rest of our lives. It’s a beautiful, vibrant city with extremely welcoming people–we always joked about getting married here before we got engaged! We're very excited to share a place we love with the people we love.
Many shops and restaurants accept credit cards, but some businesses are cash only. ATMs are widely available, but for the best conversion rate, feel free to grab some pesos from your local bank or credit union before you leave for Mexico.
No, even the locals drink bottled or purified water here. Water/ice ordered in a restaurant or bar will be safe!

Only if you want to waste your vacation and make the couple cry. Street food is incredible here, so as long as you're smart about where you eat you should be safe. Look for a stand with lots of locals, and ones that use bottled water for their food. Food tours are also a great way to stay safe. If you want to avoid getting sick, drink bottled water and make sure you're washing your hands!
