Where to Stay in Puerto Vallarta for Our Wedding
For our wedding, we recommend staying in the Downtown area or the Romantic Zone. 'Zona Romantica' is about 30 minutes south of the airport and marina. The ferry for the wedding will be departing from the downtown area, so staying nearby will make things super convenient. If you're considering a resort-style stay, Nuevo Vallarta is another great option — it’s about 20 minutes north of the airport and marina. We love all-inclusive resorts, but we know that not all are created equal. CheapCaribbean.com is a great site for finding packages that include flights — definitely worth checking out! Affordable & Central This is where Marcio and I will be staying, and it’s a great option for anyone looking to be in the heart of La Zona Romántica. Instead of an all-inclusive, we opted for this boutique-style stay since it’s surrounded by plenty of local restaurants and cafés, all within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and well-priced, with rates under $200 per night.
