⚠️ Important Travel Note

Please note that our wedding day coincides with the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, including the river dyeing and downtown parade. The Chicago River will be dyed green in the morning (typically beginning around 9:00 AM), and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 12:00 PM (noon). These events attract large crowds and result in significant road closures, traffic congestion, and limited access throughout downtown Chicago for most of the day. We strongly recommend: Allowing extra travel time to and from your hotel and the venue Planning ahead for delays with Uber, Lyft, or driving Staying aware of downtown road closures and traffic updates throughout the day Departing earlier than usual if traveling through or near downtown Chicago Allow extra time if traveling between 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, when downtown congestion will be heaviest We appreciate your flexibility and encourage you to enjoy the festive atmosphere in the city that weekend!
