Along this creek there is a beautiful walkway. A mile into the trail and you’ll reach a train tunnel that’s been turned into a tunnel for bicyclists and walkers, but is stunning nonetheless!
This is a beautiful place to walk on a nice day! Accessed through downtown Lynchburg, you can walk across an old train bridge-turned walkway and if you bring a lock, you can seal your love on Lynchburg’s very own lock bridge! Continue walking and you’ll reach Percival’s Island, a natural beauty settled in the James. If you venture off trail, you might even find some fun things to explore!

Our favorite food is Asian food. Making our way through the Southeast Asian countries’ cuisine, Thai ‘99 is a fantastic place to dip a toe into the world of Thai food. It’s also one of Wesley’s top favorite restaurants!
If you take a trip to Roanoke, check this coffee shop out!
